Repurposing pallets

We get a lot of pallets round these parts. Nicky had an idea to transform. Pallet from a freight thing into something cool. So this is what I made. It's going to hang in our stuffing room. Here's some pics of the process.

A relic

I found this in box while looking for black paper for a project. I got it with a case I got for my 2nd gen iPod. It's amazing that all of the pictured devices on the package no longer exist with the exception of the measuring tape (I know there's an app for that) and have all been replaced by smart phones.
